Management Trainee – West Coast | SwiftX

The Tone:
This is a one-year rotational development program at SwiftX, located on the West Coast. SwiftX is a company seeking highly motivated and ambitious Management Trainees to join its Operations Leadership Program. This comprehensive program is specifically designed to cultivate future operations leaders within the organization. The role is crucial for participants to gain structured training, hands-on operational experience, cross-functional exposure, and leadership development, ultimately preparing them for leadership-track positions upon successful completion.

The TL;DR:

• Pay: $25 hourly
• Mission: This program aims to develop future operations leaders by providing comprehensive exposure to warehouse operations, hub management, transportation coordination, and data analysis, culminating in placement into a leadership-track position.

What You’ll Actually Do:
• Warehouse Learning: Learn warehouse processes, standard operating procedures, safety requirements, and operational workflows across multiple functions and locations.
• Hub Operations: Participate in hub operations, dispatch coordination, and transportation activities, taking ownership of assigned operational responsibilities and supporting KPI achievement.
• Operations Support: Rotate through operational support functions such as Pickup Operations, Data Analysis, Network Planning, and Transportation Operations.
• Process Improvement: Participate in process improvement and operational optimization projects, analyzing operational performance to support business initiatives.
• Leadership Development: Lead assigned projects and operational initiatives, completing advanced role-specific training and management development programs.

The Must-Haves:
• Background: Entry-Level Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, Economics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Graduated within the past 12 months or expected to graduate soon; bilingual in English and Mandarin.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; strong teamwork and collaboration skills; ability to thrive in an operational environment.
• Bonus: Self-motivated with a strong desire for career growth; Spanish language skills are a plus.
