SAP iXp – Chief of Staff Support (SAP Americas Regional Marketing) | SAP

The Tone:
This is a full-time, hybrid internship at SAP, with preferred locations in Newtown Square, PA or Chicago, IL, though candidates near any SAP office may be considered. SAP is a global enterprise with over 100,000 employees, helping over four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently by building end-to-end business application software and related services. This role is a foundational part of the SAP Internship Experience Program (iXp), designed to offer university students a meaningful start to their careers. As a Marketing and Project Management Intern supporting the Chief of Staff for SAP Americas Regional Marketing, you will be instrumental in structuring internal operations, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring projects stay on track, providing hands-on exposure to strategic decision-making and cross-functional execution.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Documentation: Assist with maintaining and improving internal documentation, process guides, and planning frameworks to ensure operational clarity and efficiency across the team.
• Communications: Create and format presentations, reports, and communications decks for internal stakeholders and leadership meetings, upholding SAP brand standards and tools.
• Meeting Management: Help organize and prepare for weekly staff calls, planning sessions, and operating cadences, ensuring the team stays aligned and effective.
• Strategic Support: Collaborate with the Chief of Staff on strategic initiatives, including team enablement, operations improvements, and internal communications projects.
• Project Leadership: Independently manage various communications and marketing campaigns, which involves liaising with vendors, coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking demand generation results, and optimizing for business objectives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current undergraduate or graduate student, or a recent graduate, pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a closely related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated comfort and proficiency in handling multiple projects concurrently within a fast-paced, virtual team environment, alongside a strong curiosity and eagerness to learn about marketing operations, executive support, communications, and project leadership.
• Skills: Highly organized, process-oriented, and detail-obsessed, with excellent communication abilities, ensuring clarity and professionalism in both written and spoken interactions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Co-Pilot, as well as Canva and basic video editing tools, is required.
