Logistics Technician | Fluidstack

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Fluidstack, located in-person. Fluidstack is focused on rapidly deploying 10 to 100s of gigawatts of compute infrastructure, rethinking every layer of the stack by acquiring power, designing, building, and operating data centers. • Team: Data Center Operations Team, reporting to Logistics Lead
• Mission: Ensure material availability and inventory accuracy for rapid data center deployment and maintenance to enable massive-scale compute infrastructure.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Receiving & Shipping: Execute daily receiving and shipping operations by thoroughly verifying quantities, inspecting for any damage, and maintaining real-time updates in all tracking systems.
• Asset Management: Accurately tag, label, and log all incoming assets into the designated asset management systems immediately upon their arrival on site.
• Material Staging: Efficiently pull and stage necessary parts for technicians and engineers, ensuring timely availability without causing delays for critical work.
• Inventory Control: Support regular cycle counts and conduct physical inventory audits to achieve and maintain over 99% accuracy, proactively identifying and flagging shortages before they impact deployment or break-fix activities.
• Warehouse Organization: Systematically keep all warehouse and staging areas organized, safe, and continuously prepared for rapid deployment, efficient break-fix operations, and quick project material turns.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Hands-on experience in a warehouse, data center, or another high-volume hardware environment, demonstrating an understanding of accurate material movement under pressure.
• Experience: Proven ability to maintain inventory accuracy personally, ensuring correct counts, real-time logging, and proactive identification of potential shortages.
• Skills: Demonstrated efficiency and organization in material handling, ensuring technicians receive parts without delay; consistent adherence to established processes and a willingness to flag problems early.
• Bonus: Experience with asset management systems and barcode/RFID tracking; familiarity with data center hardware like servers, networking, and GPUs; background in high-growth or hyperscale site operations.
