Reinsurance – Operations Analyst I | The Cincinnati Insurance Companies

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at The Cincinnati Insurance Companies, located in Fairfield, OH. • Team: Cincinnati Re, a division of The Cincinnati Insurance Company, interacting with associates in Catastrophe Modeling, Underwriting, Claims and Accounting.
• Mission: Contribute to the development and implementation of organizational effectiveness by identifying optimal strategies, policies, and practices within the reinsurance division.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Management: Enter technical data into submission tracking, customer relationship management, and reinsurance administration systems.
• Operational Coordination: Coordinate with department associates to ensure timely information flow and compliance with internal guidelines.
• Reporting & Presentation: Produce financial and operational reports and provide assistance with the preparation of presentations.
• Broker Engagement: Work with reinsurance brokers to ensure the timely flow of essential documents.
• Administrative & Project Support: Handle special projects and assignments, assist with the annual planning process, plan meetings, and support key industry events.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. A college degree is preferred, but not required.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is necessary.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills to explain and present information, ability to multitask and prioritize work, strong interpersonal communication skills with an emphasis on excellent customer service, strong attention to detail, self-directed and productive with light supervision.
• Bonus: Prior experience in an insurance or reinsurance company’s underwriting, claims, pricing, or finance operation.
