The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-office role at SAFCO, located at our corporate headquarters in Pompano Beach, Florida. SAFCO specializes in vehicle financing, where the precise management of vehicle titles is crucial for business operations. The Operations Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring accurate title processing and driving continuous improvement in operational efficiency and effectiveness across the organization. This position combines hands-on daily responsibilities with analytical problem-solving to support informed business decisions.

• Mission: Own the accurate processing and management of vehicle titles while identifying and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risk.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Title Processing: Process, track, and manage vehicle title documents for financed vehicles, ensuring accurate recording, lien placement, and timely releases.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate operational workflows to identify opportunities for automation, greater efficiency, and risk mitigation throughout the Titles and Operations Department.
• Reporting & Analysis: Build reports using SQL and Python, and create dashboards with data-visualization software to automate processes and support operational decision-making.
• Issue Resolution: Investigate and proactively resolve title discrepancies, maintain accurate inventories, and support the timely handling of all title-related documents.
• Cross-functional Support: Coordinate with tag offices and auctions, provide title-related assistance to Loss Mitigation and Finance Departments, and present improvement ideas to leadership.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Entry-Level.
• Experience: Zero to two years of professional experience, welcoming recent graduates who are willing to handle hands-on daily responsibilities while driving operational excellence.
• Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel skills, strong analytical abilities, and exceptional attention to detail.
• Bonus: SQL or Python experience; bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or English and Portuguese.
