Production and Shipping Specialist | isolved
The Tone:
This is a position with isolved, an HCM technology leader providing software and services. The company builds solutions for HR, payroll, and benefits professionals, known as People Heroes, through their intelligently connected platform, isolved People Cloud. This role is critical for ensuring products are delivered smoothly and operations run efficiently, directly supporting the company’s customer mission. What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaboration: Begin each day by collaborating with team members to ensure production schedules are met efficiently.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory, meticulously verifying product quantities to maintain accuracy.
• Shipment Preparation: Assemble shipments with precise attention to detail, ensuring all products are prepared correctly.
• Logistics Tracking: Utilize technology to track shipments and report on delivery schedules, ensuring timely product arrival for customers.
• Problem Resolution: Address any production or shipping challenges that arise, applying a problem-solving mindset.
• Process Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting innovative practices to enhance productivity and quality.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required; previous scheduling experience is a plus.
• Skills: Must be conscientious, able to read and follow written instructions, possess strong verbal communication skills, work under stringent time deadlines with little or no supervision, and operate computer terminals and various office equipment. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, a problem-solving mindset, adaptability, and a customer-centric attitude are essential.
• Bonus: Previous scheduling experience.
