Operations Analyst | Coforge

The Tone:
This is an hourly Operations Analyst role at Coforge, located in Salt Lake City, UT. Coforge provides resources to support custody back-office functions primarily for Global Banking & Markets and Asset & Wealth Management. This position is crucial for delivering institutional-grade support to Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) by managing high volumes of client communication. The role requires a “client-first” advocacy approach to balance operational efficiency and internal risk protocols, ultimately driving asset retention and platform growth.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firms and their clients across multiple communication channels.
• Inquiry Resolution: Efficiently route client inquiries to internal processing teams to ensure timely and effective resolution.
• Advocacy & Risk Management: Balance internal risk protocols with external client needs to achieve positive outcomes and act as the internal client voice.
• Feedback & Escalation: Systematically log advisor feedback and complaints in Salesforce, escalating critical issues to management for project prioritization.
• Relationship Building: Proactively communicate with clients about platform updates, industry events, and releases impacting their relationship.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree required; suitable for early career professionals and freshers with a finance degree.
• Experience: 0-3 years in financial services, with a proven track record in high-touch client service or fast-paced operational environments.
• Skills: Exceptional ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, professional, and concise verbal and written communication; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word); high attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to remain calm and effective in a deadline-driven, high-call-volume, and strictly regulated compliance environment; demonstrated skill in quickly building rapport, identifying latent client needs, and educating advisors on client services; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly learn new processes.
• Bonus: Strong knowledge of Salesforce; prior operations and financial services knowledge (capital markets, wealth management preferred); a self-motivated team player who shows initiative and thrives in an autonomous yet collaborative setting.
