Fleet Planner | SIXT
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at SIXT, an in-person position where you will be physically present to manage fleet operations. SIXT is a globally leading mobility service provider with a significant fleet of 350,000 vehicles, offering car rental, car sharing, ride services, and car subscriptions. This role is crucial for optimizing the day-to-day planning and operations of the fleet, ensuring vehicles run efficiently and safely to meet customer demand and support the company’s commitment to outstanding customer service.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Fleet Operations: Plan and manage the day-to-day operations of the fleet, ensuring efficiency and safety at all times.
• Activity Monitoring: Monitor and track shift activities, including vehicle movements and cleaning schedules, to maintain optimal fleet performance.
• Demand Fulfillment: Plan and dispatch vehicles based on hourly, daily, and weekly demand forecasts to meet customer requirements.
• Inter-branch Coordination: Coordinate vehicle transfers between branches to facilitate seamless operations and maintain service levels.
• Inventory & Communication: Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners, managing the branch’s inventory to execute car rental transactions smoothly.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High school diploma or GED required, with preferred experience in an automotive dealership, vehicle registration, or the car rental industry.
• Experience: At least 1 year performing administrative tasks in an office environment.
• Skills: Basic computer navigation skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, strong organizational abilities for managing fleet inventory, repair schedules, work orders, and documentation, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
• Bonus: Speaking other languages is a plus.
