The Tone:
This is an in-office role at SAFCO, located at our corporate headquarters in Pompano Beach, Florida. SAFCO focuses on providing financial services related to vehicle financing, where precision meets purpose. The Operations Analyst role is pivotal in both the day-to-day management of vehicle titles and the continuous improvement of processes across our Titles and Operations functions. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can handle daily operational tasks while applying analytical and technical skills to automate reporting, enhance workflows, and support informed business decisions, directly impacting the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of the business.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Title Processing & Management: Oversee the complete lifecycle of vehicle title documents, including receiving, tracking, and coordinating submissions to auctions, while ensuring accurate lien placement and timely release.
• Operational Analysis & Improvement: Evaluate existing workflows and processes within the Titles and Operations Department to identify opportunities for automation, increased efficiency, and effective risk mitigation.
• Reporting & Dashboard Development: Utilize SQL and Python to build automated reports and create informative dashboards using data-visualization software, supporting critical operational decision-making.
• Discrepancy Resolution & Inventory Management: Proactively review title statuses, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and meticulously maintain accurate paper and electronic title inventories.
• Cross-Departmental Support: Provide essential title-related support to the Loss Mitigation and Finance Departments, assisting with audits, reconciliation, forecasting, and capital markets-related work.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 0-2 years of professional experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Strong analytical abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Bonus: Experience with SQL or Python; bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or English and Portuguese.
