The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Walmart, located in McCordsville, IN. This position is vital for maintaining and enhancing the integrity of quality assurance processes and systems operations across import, regional, returns, and e-commerce segments. • Pay: $84,000–$126,000 yearly
• Team: Manages and supervises both associates and leaders within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Mission: To drive operational efficiency and compliance by overseeing quality assurance guidelines and systems execution across various distribution and e-commerce operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Strategy & Improvement: Drive and implement the business plan for area of responsibility to achieve facility goals, including production, quality, and safety, while implementing operational improvements.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with Logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures, overseeing the execution of QA guidelines, inventory integrity, corrective actions, and hazardous material processing.
• Systems Operations & Maintenance: Oversee the execution of systems operations, ensuring appropriate hardware/software maintenance, new system installation, repairs, and troubleshooting in collaboration with corporate partners and vendors.
• Team Leadership & Development: Supervise and manage associates and leaders within the area of responsibility, providing direction, monitoring performance, giving feedback, identifying training needs, and contributing to hiring, promotion, coaching, and evaluation.
• Performance Analysis & Forecasting: Prepare, review, and analyze business reports to identify operational improvements and forecast staffing, workload, and performance results to meet business demands.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, or Production/Operations Management.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in an operations, distribution, logistics, or retail environment. This experience must include supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers, supervisors, or associates; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees for multiple departments or areas. Alternatively, 1 year of experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager or Operations Manager supervising and developing associates or managers.
• Skills: Proven ability in team supervision and management, including hiring and development; expertise in implementing operational improvements and business plans; strong background in quality assurance and compliance management; capability in systems maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting; and proficiency in business report analysis and forecasting.
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include experience in financial modeling and analysis, inventory management, preparing and executing budgets, profit and loss (P&L) accountability, talent development, or knowledge of Walmart Logistics Manager or Walmart Logistics Systems.
