Shift Supervisor | Nothing Bundt Cakes
The Tone:
This is a part-time role at Nothing Bundt Cakes, a company dedicated to baking and selling handcrafted Bundt cakes for all occasions. This position is vital for ensuring an exceptional guest experience, upholding the highest bakery standards, and supporting the management team in daily operations and team development. The Shift Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining a positive work environment and the smooth functioning of the bakery.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Guest Experience Leadership: Prioritize the guest experience, model superior guest engagement, and foster a positive working environment for all team members.
• Operational Support: Partner with the General and Assistant Manager in leading all aspects of the guest experience, cake production, brand and merchandise presentation, work environment, and inventory control.
• Team Development & Oversight: Support the managers in training team members, directing daily work responsibilities, and providing performance feedback and coaching to ensure high standards.
• Standard & Safety Compliance: Ensure Nothing Bundt Cakes product, service, bakery environment, and visual merchandising standards are consistently upheld, adhering to all food, health safety, and company policies.
• Order Fulfillment & Administration: Co-manage special-order fulfillment via web and phone for individual guests and corporate accounts, including large, complex orders and deliveries, and assist with operational and administrative responsibilities such as production plans and expense control.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Managerial level with a focus on guest service, bakery operations, team leadership, and adherence to operational standards.
• Experience: Proven ability to direct daily work responsibilities, provide performance feedback and coaching, and co-manage complex order fulfillment.
• Skills: Delegation, clear communication, ability to direct others’ work and manage performance when managers are absent, strong learning agility, and the ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
• Bonus: Weekend and evening availability, with flexible availability of at least 30 hours during weeks with large holidays.
