What You’ll Actually Do
• Admissions Process Management: Manage the admissions process efficiently to ensure a positive experience for residents, families, and supporting staff.
• Department Operations and Census Growth: Plan, direct, and monitor daily operations of the Admissions Department to meet budgeted resident census goals.
• Referral Relationship Management: Initiate, nurture, and maintain contacts with physicians, social workers, and discharge planners to maximize referrals.
• Patient Intake and Coordination: Obtain applicant information, screen patients against admission criteria, and coordinate physical, social, emotional, and support service requirements.
• Inter-departmental Collaboration: Work collaboratively with leaders of other facility departments to enhance the admissions experience and ensure timely communication.

• Background: Director-level role requiring a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
