Material Program Manager – Global Patriot | Raytheon

The Tone:
This is an onsite role at Raytheon, a key business within RTX, located in Andover, MA, Tewksbury, MA, or McKinney, TX. This Material Program Manager role is a high-profile, high-impact assignment, critical for managing all Global Supply Chain activities on Global Patriot International Programs from capture through sustainment, requiring a team-builder to deliver business results in a challenging environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Represent: Act as the Global Supply Chain (GSC) interface to the Program Management Office (PMO).
• Report: Communicate GSC program status and critical issues to external and internal customers, while offering solutions and implementing corrective actions.
• Forecast: Prepare monthly material sales forecasts utilizing the Material Forecast Tool (MFT), including alignment with IPTs, Procurement, and FP&A Teams, and perform monthly forecast variance analysis.
• Manage Risk: Implement proactive management of material sales Risk & Opportunity, utilizing the Risk & Opportunity Management (ROM) Tool to ensure predictability.
• Support Start-up: Support GSC new Program start-up activities, including development of the Material Program Plan (MPP) and baselining.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with a University Degree, or 5 years with an Advanced Degree in a related field such as Business, Finance, Management, Engineering, or Supply Chain.
• Experience: Budget and Earned Value (EV) management, MRP systems and tools such as PRISM and KINAXIS, Risk & Opportunity Management (ROM) Tool, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and/or proposals.
• Skills: Strong team-building abilities, capability to work with various systems and people, and the ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Business, Finance, Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or similar; MPM Level 4 Certification or ability to obtain within one year; excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation); self-starter capable of implementing functional and program objectives; ability to interface with all levels of internal and supplier management; excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize often conflicting tasks.
