Customer Compliance Intern, Summer/Fall 2026 | BAE Systems, Inc.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Ensure compliance: Daily review customer and product repair requirements to ensure absolute adherence to purchase orders, contracts, and command media procedures.
• Support customers: Serve as a secondary point of contact for customer accounts, providing transparent communication regarding receipt status for repairs.
• Drive growth: Proactively identify and execute Value Added Services (VAS) opportunities across both Services and Spares portfolios, leveraging the compliance review process for strategic enhancements.
• Solve problems: Analyze complex customer issues and coordinate with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to implement creative, systemic corrective actions.
• Interpret technical data: Translate technical specifications, standards, and component manufacturing manuals to ensure all work scopes align with FAA and military aerospace standards.
• Assist management: Support the Customer Service Manager in developing work scopes, facilitating customer account management, and responding to AOG (Aircraft on Ground) emergency requirements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must currently be enrolled in a collegiate degree program with good academic standing.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience is required; emphasis is on academic progression within a relevant degree program.
• Skills: Ability to review and interpret contracts and purchase orders for compliance; capacity to understand and apply regulatory mandates and technical documentation; strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; effective communication for customer and internal stakeholder interactions.
• Bonus: Has completed sophomore or junior year of a four-year degree program in Business Administration or Operations.
