Analyst, Learning & Development (Marketing) | Ovative Group

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Ovative Group, located in Minneapolis, MN or Chicago, IL. Ovative Group is an independent firm that helps brands like Best Buy and The Home Depot transform their media and measurement programs for profitable growth, leveraging a proprietary MarTech platform. The Analyst, Learning & Development (Marketing) plays an early leadership role, driving learning and development transformations crucial for the company’s high standards of talent and client success by connecting learning directly to business results.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: In-person, Minneapolis, MN or Chicago, IL
• Pay: $60000–$66000 yearly
• Mission: To support learning & development transformations across the broader team, ensuring impactful learning connects to business results.
• Tech Stack: Excel, LMS dashboards, AI (Claude, ChatGPT, or other), MS Office, Google Workspace

What You’ll Actually Do
• L&D Expertise: Build and apply learning & development expertise to support marketing and operations projects across the company, including new-hire onboarding, session facilitation, LMS data management, and content creation.
• Problem-Solving: Break down large, ambiguous projects into discrete parts with clear timelines, and use data and analytical tools to evaluate program effectiveness and surface learning insights.
• Leadership Development: Manage work independently with initial direction from a manager, regularly speak up, ask questions, and express your point of view.
• Program Design: Develop a deep understanding of Ovative’s marketing and measurement capabilities to design relevant, impactful learning programs.
• Strategic Collaboration: Regularly connect with media, client, and product teams to identify skill gaps, learning needs, and strategy evolutions, then translate those insights into actionable, scalable L&D programming.

• Experience: Demonstrated ability to think critically, break down problems, and propose solutions through academic projects, internships, volunteer, or work experiences.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to produce accurate and organized work, capacity to collaborate effectively with others, and demonstrated ownership of tasks or projects with limited supervision.
