Analyst, Learning & Development (Marketing) | Ovative Group

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Ovative Group, located in Minneapolis, MN or Chicago, IL. Ovative Group is an independent firm specializing in full-funnel media, measurement, and creative solutions, leveraging its proprietary MarTech platform, EMRge. This Analyst role is an early leadership opportunity, supporting learning and development transformations across the company, and is crucial for connecting effective learning programs to tangible business results.

• Mission: To support learning and development transformations for the broader team, spanning onboarding, marketing subject matter expertise, people & team leadership, and measurement, connecting great learning to business results.
• Tech Stack: Excel, LMS dashboards, AI platforms (Claude, ChatGPT, or other), MS Office, Google Workspace

What You’ll Actually Do
• Design and Implement L&D Initiatives: Build and apply learning and development expertise to support marketing and operations projects, including new-hire onboarding programs and org-wide development days.
• Manage Learning Projects: Break down large, ambiguous projects into discrete parts, establish clear timelines, and manage work independently with initial direction.
• Analyze Program Effectiveness: Utilize data and analytical tools such as Excel, LMS dashboards, and AI to evaluate learning program effectiveness and surface insights.
• Develop Targeted Learning Solutions: Connect with media, client, and product teams to identify skill gaps and learning needs, translating these insights into actionable L&D programming.
• Facilitate Sessions and Content: Support content creation and transformation efforts, including leveraging AI tools, and facilitate learning sessions while managing assessments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level candidates without prior professional experience are encouraged, provided they demonstrate transferable skills and an eagerness to learn.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to think critically, break down problems, and propose solutions, along with examples of leadership, initiative, or ownership in academic, extracurricular, volunteer, or work settings.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, consistently accurate and organized work, ability to collaborate effectively, and familiarity with basic tools such as MS Office, Google Workspace, or AI platforms.
