This is an internship at Wella Company, located in Calabasas, CA. This role offers an opportunity to support the daily functions of the Wella Professionals Brand Marketing Team across key prestige care brands like Sebastian Professional, Nioxin, and Briogeo. The intern will play an integral part in contributing to marketing campaigns, learning about business operations, and understanding cross-functional team roles, thereby gaining practical skills and insights into effective branding, marketing, and communication strategies within the professional beauty industry.
The TL;DR

• Type: Part-time (29 hours/week)
• Location: In-person, Calabasas, CA
• Pay: $23 hourly
• Team: Reports to the Brand Manager, Sebastian Professional, within the Wella Professionals Brand Marketing Team.
• Mission: Support the Brand Marketing Team in managing daily functions, operations, and marketing plans for Sebastian Professional, Nioxin, and Briogeo.
• Tech Stack: Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Doc, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube
What You’ll Actually Do
• Maintain: Maintain important tracking documents, contribute to brand presentations, and assist with day-to-day operational organization.
• Analyze & Create: Assist in gathering data and insights to support marketing and communications strategies, and support developing engaging social media content and campaigns.
• Brief & Coordinate: Create briefs for asset creation and manage core operational marketing processes, including data entry forms, sample coordination, event support, promotional item sourcing, and product shipments to partners.
• Support: Assist with paid media needs and perform various ad hoc assignments or projects as assigned.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate degree program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: Commitment to a one-year internship.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, project management abilities, and comfort in a deadline-driven environment. Proficiency in Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Docs, and major social media platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube).
• Bonus: Experience with data analysis tools and reporting platforms, or previous marketing experience and internships.
