AI Product Management Internship (Computer Science Background) | Sparrow

This is an AI Product Management Internship at Sparrow, located in the United States. Sparrow is a company redefining coaching through AI-driven motion analysis and real-time feedback, initially focused on golf and expanding into other sports and physical therapy. This internship plays a vital role in building the next generation of AI applications for consumers and businesses, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to create intelligent, interactive, and humanistic experiences. The selected intern will directly contribute to products that are live on the market, helping to shape how AI transforms learning and user interaction.

The TL;DR

• Mission: Help bridge a Computer Science background with product strategy and creativity to reshape how AI transforms learning, one user and skill at a time.
• Tech Stack: LLMs, Conversational capabilities (Text-to-speech, Speech-to-text), LoRAs, Avatars, Agentic apps, AI optimization, sports tech.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Integration: Work collaboratively with teams to integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and advanced AI-powered features into Sparrow’s existing and new product offerings.
• Contribution: Contribute directly to products live on the market, including the industry-leading AI sports coaching applications that are already helping over 500,000 users.
• Research & Advancement: Stay at the forefront of advancements in LLMs, Agentic applications, and AI optimization techniques to ensure Sparrow remains on the leading edge of the field.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Sparrow’s technical staff to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that enhance AI-driven coaching and user experiences.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A recent Computer Science graduate looking to break into the growing AI / GenAI space, interested in broadening their skillset to management and design of AI-LLM-Agentic applications.
• Experience: No previous product management experience is required, but candidates must be willing and able to take on an 8-month full-time internship with a stipend.
• Skills: A quick learner comfortable with new tools and technologies, a creative problem-solver who enjoys tackling tough new challenges, and a collaborative team player who values open communication.
