Associate Product Specialist, Launch Program 2027 – United States | Mastercard
The Tone:
This is an 18-month entry-level program at Mastercard, located in Arlington, VA or O’Fallon, MO. This Launch Program offers specialized expertise through hands-on experience, structured learning, and mentorship. The role is vital for developing future product leaders who will apply their skills to real business challenges and contribute to meaningful product development and organizational impact.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Deliver Solutions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver product solutions that effectively meet specific customer and broader business needs.
• Inform Decisions: Analyze data, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities and provide insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Enhance Experiences: Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address business challenges and continuously improve user experiences.
• Manage Development: Use project management and organizational skills to support comprehensive product planning, delivery, and execution processes.
• Present Findings: Build and communicate clear recommendations through compelling presentations, detailed reports, and effective stakeholder discussions.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or accelerated Master’s degree with an anticipated graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication; high level of adaptability and flexibility; ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders; highly organized and detail-oriented with strong planning and time management skills; ability to balance multiple priorities; foundational knowledge of AI, data, APIs, and modern technology platforms.
• Bonus: Curiosity about emerging technologies and understanding how AI can create customer and business value.
