Entry-Level Healthcare Positions – Training Provided | Silver Lining Home Healthcare

The Tone:
This is an entry-level role at Silver Lining Home Healthcare, located in Sussex County, DE. This position is vital for delivering direct support to clients, enabling them to live life to the fullest in their homes. It also empowers individuals to start their purpose-driven careers in healthcare by providing a free, comprehensive HHA Certification Course.

The TL;DR

• Mission: Provide in-home care services to clients and empower our Care Family in their purpose-driven work.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Support: Provide in-home care services to clients located across Sussex County.
• Skill Development: Participate in a 2-week HHA Certification Course, which includes both lecture and skills training sessions.
• Competency Validation: Complete assigned homework and demonstrate skills through competency sign-offs and tests administered each Friday.
• Shift Readiness: Be prepared to pick up shifts and assist community members after successfully completing the course and orientation.
• Specialized Care: Acquire skills to care for individuals with behavioral and mental health needs through additional training provided during the course.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Career level: Others. Eligible to work in the United States (sponsorship is not provided). Willingness to undergo and complete a 2-week HHA Certification Course.
• Experience: Commitment to completing 500 hours of employment after certification for the release of your certificate.
• Skills: Able to lift, position, and transfer patients; compassionate, respectful, committed to excellency, and possessing a good attitude.
• Mandatory Conditions: Ability to pass a criminal record check that meets hiring guidelines, complete a physical, and a 2-Step PPD.
