The Tone:
This is a full-time training program across various BluePearl locations, designed to prepare veterinarians for a thriving career in emergency medicine. BluePearl Pet Hospital operates a network dedicated to providing outstanding specialty and emergency care for pets, and this role is crucial for developing skilled professionals. Participants in this program will become confident and proficient emergency veterinarians, equipped to administer life-saving care to pets in crisis.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Training: Receive comprehensive hands-on training, lectures, and personalized mentorship from day one as part of the team.
• Boot Camp: Participate in a 14-week accelerated boot camp, including virtual asynchronous learning, an immersive in-person boot camp with the entire cohort for labs and ER case scenarios, and critical practical skills development.
• Rotations: Spend 10 weeks at your primary hospital, rotating through emergency and critical care, as well as other specialties.
• Guided Training: Engage in 20 weeks of hands-on, immersive training guided by an experienced clinician mentor.
• Experiential Learning: Continue experiential training for 18 weeks, benefiting from ongoing mentorship and practical experience.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduate of an accredited veterinary school. This program welcomes both recent graduates and seasoned veterinary professionals.
• Experience: Passed (or pending) the NAVLE and licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of interest.
• Bonus: Sincere interest in becoming an Emergency Veterinarian.
