This is a full-time role at Lamb Weston, located in Hermiston, OR. This Store Room Attendant Trainee position is vital for efficiently managing the flow of supplies and tools, directly supporting the operational needs of our plant. You will ensure maintenance personnel have what they need, contributing to the smooth running of our facilities.

• Mission: This person is responsible for issuing, receiving, and managing supplies and tools to support maintenance operations and ensure inventory accuracy.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Issues and records all tools and supplies drawn from the storeroom using appropriate forms.
• Receives, verifies, tags, and stores incoming freight, matching receiving documents to company purchase order paperwork.
• Generates work orders and performs inventory and equipment inquiries using the computer system to support maintenance personnel.
• Conducts inventory checks as required, investigating any discrepancies between physical count and inventory records.
• Maintains the storeroom in a neat and orderly fashion, paying special attention to the correct locations of items.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional with a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: One to three months of related experience and/or training. Requires a valid Driver’s License with a driving record that meets Lamb Weston Driving Standards.
• Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, write, and communicate simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide). Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
