GE Vernova Grid Automation Product Management Intern – Fall 2026 | GE Vernova

The Tone:
This is an internship at GE Vernova, located in Rochester, NY. GE Vernova is dedicated to electrifying the world while simultaneously working to decarbonize it, leading the global energy transition. This role supports that mission by contributing to the Product Management function, helping to understand market dynamics and product performance to drive business objectives as part of a formal leadership training and talent pipeline program.

• Mission: Support the Grid Automation product line by analyzing market, assessing performance, and developing content to help lead the energy transition.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Market Analysis: Develop an understanding of the Product Line and Market dynamics.
• Performance Assessment: Help assess historical product line performance based on financial data.
• Content Creation: Assist with the creation and maintenance of a robust library of product content, including pitch decks, case studies, videos, product sheets, and whitepapers.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work effectively across groups such as product management, marketing, and Commercial/Sales to achieve business objectives.
• Project Execution: Work on an assignment or project within Product Management to expand learning and skillset, reporting progress to the Product Manager.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate Business or Engineering program with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Experience: Legally authorized to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship; pay varies based on years of undergraduate/graduate field of study completed.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving, resource management, time-management, organizational, and excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to work independently on multiple projects with cross-functional teams.
• Bonus: High self-motivation, ability to work under minimal supervision, a sense of urgency, a success-oriented attitude, and some knowledge of wireless technology (4G LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi).
