Office Assistant / Customer Service Representative (Part-Time)

We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Part-Time Office Assistant / Customer Service Representative. This role involves a variety of general office duties combined with extensive customer interaction, requiring strong computer skills and a commitment to excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform computerized registration and check-ins for various services or programs.
  • Process sales of passes and other related items.
  • Execute general office tasks including typing and duplicating documents.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls in a professional and helpful manner.
  • Provide extensive customer service and maintain positive public contact.

Qualifications

Previous Work Experience (Preferred)

  • General office clerical experience.
  • Experience working effectively with the public.

Education & Age Requirements

  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent (preferred).
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.

Required Skills & Training

  • Computer Proficiency: Proficient in all aspects of computers, preferably including Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet-based online systems, and RecTrac.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for extensive interaction with the public.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills are essential.
  • Multi-tasking: Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively in a busy environment.
  • Typing Speed: A minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute (wpm).
  • Organizational Skills: Proficiency in filing.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to problem-solve effectively and independently.
  • Office Equipment: Possessing a working knowledge of general office equipment.

Work Schedule & Employment Details

  • Start Date: ASAP.
  • Position Type: This is a part-time position.
  • Hours: A maximum of 25 hours per week.
  • Availability: Candidates must be available and able to work ALL shifts, demonstrating flexibility to meet operational needs.
