About the Role: Events Foundation Assistant
This role involves assisting the Events Foundation staff with planning certain components of events, ensuring the successful execution of fundraising initiatives to support Children’s Wisconsin’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Events Foundation staff with planning certain components of Signature Events.
- Assist Events Foundation staff with planning certain components of Community Events.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the Events Foundation staff and overall foundation objectives.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Working toward a degree in Events, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field at an accredited college or university.
- An interest in event fundraising.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creativity and Enthusiasm.
- Organizational skills: Ability to manage time and meet numerous deadlines.
- Interpersonal skills: Ability to effectively work with volunteers and staff.
- Computer use: Limited desktop publishing work and proficient understanding in Microsoft programs.
- Access to a car for local travel (minimal travel; mileage will be reimbursed).
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 40 lbs.
