Delivery Driver | Omnicare Pharmacy (CVS Health)

The Tone:
This is a part-time role at Omnicare Pharmacy (CVS Health), performing deliveries on a predetermined route. As a Delivery Driver, you play a crucial role in ensuring all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for patients, contributing to simplifying healthcare one person, one family, and one community at a time.

The TL;DR
• Role: Part Time
• Type: Part-time
• Location: Local Service Area (In-person)
• Pay: $16.00–$26.21 hourly
• Team: Part of the Omnicare Pharmacy team
• Mission: Deliver prescription orders and/or products to customers on a predetermined route and schedule, ensuring timely and accurate delivery and patient confidentiality.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Delivery Management: Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products, and supplies into long-term care facilities or patient homes.
• Logistics: Safely and efficiently load products and materials into the company-provided vehicle.
• Vehicle Stewardship: Monitor and alert management to any vehicle maintenance issues as needed.
• Regulatory Adherence: Maintain full compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations, including HIPAA to ensure patient confidentiality.
• Customer Service & Team Support: Utilize a customer service mindset to manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks, supporting the team’s ability to fill patient prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or GED is required, representing an early career level.
• Experience: Possess a current, valid driver’s license in the state at the level required for the vehicle’s operation, and the ability to drive for long periods of time. While no professional driving experience is required, prior experience as a limo driver, taxi/bus driver, courier, or gig-economy worker is encouraged.
• Skills: Possess geographical knowledge of the service area, flexibility for nights and weekends, and demonstrate ethical conduct and a customer service mindset.
• Bonus: Prior experience in the long-term care industry.
