Entry Level Behavior Technician | ACES (Comprehensive Educational Services)

The Tone:
This is an entry-level part-time role at ACES (Comprehensive Educational Services), located in Surprise, AZ. ACES is dedicated to helping children with autism reach their full potential by providing comprehensive educational services. This role is vital for delivering one-on-one therapy, supporting children in building crucial communication, social, and problem-solving skills within a supportive team environment that prioritizes work/life balance and growth opportunities.

• Mission: This person helps children with autism build communication, social, and problem-solving skills using evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
• Tech Stack: Company-issued iPad, data systems, tablet-based technology

What You’ll Actually Do
• Therapy Delivery: Provide individualized one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in either center-based or in-home settings.
• Behavior Reinforcement: Apply positive behavior reinforcement techniques derived from an industry-leading training program.
• Progress Tracking: Document client progress and track data using a company-issued iPad and designated data systems.
• Collaborative Support: Collaborate actively with client families and supervisors to foster and support each child’s developmental growth.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Possess a high school diploma or GED and a genuine passion for supporting children and families impacted by autism.
• Experience: No prior experience is required; however, previous experience working with children in roles such as camp counselor, nanny, preschool teacher, paraprofessional, teacher’s aide, or childcare volunteer is considered a plus.
• Skills: Demonstrate patience, empathy, strong communication abilities with both children and caregivers, sound judgment in various situations, and comfort using tablet-based technology.
• Bonus: Commitment to completing the paid virtual Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training program. Access to reliable transportation is necessary, with your name preferred as an insured driver. A valid Arizona Driver’s License is required (exceptions for active-duty military and college students). A $500 Sign-On Bonus is available for eligible candidates with an active or inactive RBT certification.
