What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service: Engage professionally with patients, visitors, and staff, executing security procedures and emergency responses in a healthcare setting.
• Patrols: Perform regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking lots, and the perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards.
• Incident Response: Address incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, providing de-escalation support and communicating with leadership or emergency responders.
• Access Control: Monitor entry points, verify credentials as directed, and assist with visitor management and wayfinding while maintaining a professional presence.
• Reporting: Accurately complete security reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate shift updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or GED is required. Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required, however, customer service experience is preferred.
• Skills: Strong observation abilities, effective communication, incident response, accurate report writing, professional demeanor.
• Bonus: Comfortable using a computer or tablet, able to lift up to 20 lbs.
