What You’ll Actually Do
• Patient Care: Provide direct patient care in an acute care setting, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Care Planning: Develop comprehensive nursing care plans in coordination with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
• Communication: Effectively communicate changes in the patient’s clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
• Discharge Planning: Actively participate in the discharge planning process to ensure seamless patient transitions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Career level: Early Career.
• Experience: Current Arizona or Compact State RN license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Skills: Acute patient care, nursing process application, comprehensive care plan development, clinical condition communication, discharge planning.
• Bonus: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
