About the Job

As an Intern in our Plush Product Development Department, you will support the unique workflows of plush manufacturing, focusing on the optimization of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring seamless communication across Design, Brand, and Packaging. You’ll gain a front-row seat to the world of textiles, patterns, and global Plush product management with the world’s largest Plush Toy Company.

What You Will Do

  • Assist the Plush Product Development team in the completion and approval of updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring all processes are well-documented and optimized.
  • Organize and review all SOPs associated with Product Development, collaborating with senior management to understand and improve processes.
  • Conduct research, take detailed notes, and participate in discussions to enhance product development workflows.
  • Provide feedback on different stages of product development projects, contributing to process improvements and successful execution.
  • Work cross-functionally with departments such as Design, Brand, and Packaging to ensure seamless communication and alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Gain exposure to various industry techniques and styles, expanding your knowledge of product development and project management.
  • Support the team in tracking and managing project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Take advantage of mentorship and learning opportunities to grow your skills in product development and toy manufacturing.

What We Look For:

  • A genuine passion for Product Development, with a specific interest in Plush, textiles, and soft goods manufacturing.
  • Technical Proficiency in documentation and data organization; an interest in learning Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a desire to learn the intricacies of fabric types, safety standards, and project management frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, acting as a “connector” between creative designers and technical production teams.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
  • Solid time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace is a plus.
  • Open to rising seniors in high school, undergraduate, or graduate students currently enrolled in an accredited institution.

Internship Program Eligibility

  • Open to high school rising seniors, undergraduate, and graduate students currently enrolled in an accredited educational institution.
  • Must not have graduated prior to March 2026.
  • Must be able to commit to the full 10-week program, working onsite Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays, for a total of 40 hours per week.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • Must be able to commute to the internship location for the duration of the program.
  • Must successfully pass a background check as part of the hiring process.

What We Offer

  • Paid internship ranging from $18.00–$25.00 per hour, based on education level.
  • Hybrid schedule: Onsite Monday–Thursday, remote on Fridays.
  • 10-week duration (Summer 2026) | 40 hours per week | June 8th – August 14th.
  • Hands-on experience contributing to real projects within a dynamic, creative company.
