Security Officer – Unarmed Patrol Duties | Allied Universal®

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service: Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Incident Response: Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site management and/or public responders as required.
• Patrol Duties: Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, yards, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access, identify unusual conditions, and report concerns.
• Access Control: Control access through gates and/or designated entry points by verifying identification, logging visitors and vehicles, and directing authorized traffic.
• Documentation & Reporting: Complete detailed reports and logs, communicate observations to supervisors and site contacts, and support investigations by documenting incidents.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Proof of a high school diploma and/or GED. Must be at least 21 years of age for this client-specific role.
• Experience: No specific years of experience required.
• Skills: Customer service, problem-solving, communication, documentation.
• Bonus: Have a guard card and/or license, possess CPR certification, and be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet.
