Registered Nurse (RN) – New Graduate | Select Specialty Hospital – North Knoxville

What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaboration: Work with physicians and your preceptor to implement, evaluate, and follow up on patient care plans for the patient population.
• Assessment: Initiate an ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs of patients and their families.
• Care Planning: Interpret assessment data and information to develop comprehensive nursing care plans, including problem identification, nursing diagnoses, orders, approaches, interventions, short/long term goals, and discharge planning.
• Team Participation: Participate as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating rehabilitation goals.
• Documentation: Ensure that documents in the medical record are complete, factual, accurate, and timely.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduate of an accredited program for registered nursing. Early Career.
• Experience: 0 years of experience. Must have flexibility of scheduling to complete the requirements of the new graduate program.
• Skills: Valid State RN License, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at hire.
