• Team: Part of a patient care team at one of DCI’s in-center hemodialysis or hospital services units.
• Mission: Provides specialized nursing care to ensure safe care and the highest quality outcomes for patients receiving hemodialysis.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Monitor: Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physicians and families.
• Prepare: Prepare dialysis machine and treatment supplies, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Perform: Perform hemodialysis treatments according to facility policies and procedures.
• Educate: Provide ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching, including relevant documentation.
• Administer: Administer and chart all prescribed medications under the supervision of a registered nurse.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Accredited nursing degree required. This is an early career role.
• Experience: No dialysis experience is required; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Up to 12-weeks’ paid training and a 3-month comprehensive education program are provided.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills, a desire to collaborate with care teams, and the ability to problem-solve.
