Proposal Specialist (Entry-Level/Remote-USA) | Syneos Health®

This role plays a key part in developing proposals for clinical research and pharmaceutical services, supporting the Global Proposal Management team to shorten the distance from lab to life®.

• Mission: Support the Global Proposal Management team by organizing information, maintaining internal systems, and ensuring smooth operations for proposal development.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel), CRM system (Salesforce), SharePoint

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide assistance to team members regarding proposal processes and tools.
• Intake: Manage the initial review and routing of new Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to the appropriate proposal teams.
• Documentation: Establish and maintain project documentation by creating digital folders and uploading essential documents.
• Data Management: Ensure data integrity by entering and updating information in the CRM system and internal workload reports.
• Reporting: Assist with database maintenance, data cleanup projects, and generating basic data queries and reports.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree (required), ideally in business, life sciences, or a related field; suitable for a recent graduate or someone early in their professional journey.
• Experience: Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word and Excel; some prior relevant professional experience is helpful.
• Skills: High level of attention to detail and accuracy, strong written and verbal communication skills, a genuine curiosity about business operations, a positive and team-oriented approach, and the ability to manage multiple small tasks while staying organized.
• Bonus: An interest in proposal development, and some prior exposure to the clinical research or pharmaceutical industry.
