Warehouse Runner – FB

Reports to: Food and Beverage Manager
Department: Food and Beverage
FSLA: Hourly, Part-time non-exempt
Salary: $17.40/hr

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the stocking and rotation of products at all concession locations on a daily basis. This position will also assist in receiving and storage of all products and maintenance and cleaning of foodservice equipment. Prior experience within a foodservice environment is essential.

Major Responsibilities

  • Rotates inventory practicing FIFO (first in, first out).
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of warehouse and concession stands.
  • Performs product transfers; pre-event and during event, ensuring proper storage.
  • Assists with the set-up and tear-down of portable concession locations.
  • Follows and receives direction from the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Assists with recording of monthly inventory.
  • Assists with the laundering of concession uniforms.
  • Assists with cleaning of foodservice equipment including fryers, grills and other equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events; talk and hear. This position may require work inside or outside of the building as needed by events.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide (basic mathematics skills).
  • Ability to communicate and execute instructions via radio (walkie talkie).
  • Ability to regularly move and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work within a “team” oriented environment.
  • Requires the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications And/Or Experience

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 months foodservice experience and/or training; fast food experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
