What You’ll Actually Do
• Deliver patient-centered care: Provide compassionate nursing care across specialties like Med/Surg, Oncology, Telemetry, PCU, Inpatient Rehab, and Emergency Department.
• Support clinical operations: Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of patient services within facilities such as St. Francis Downtown and St. Francis Eastside.
• Engage in professional growth: Actively participate in learning and development opportunities tailored for new graduate registered nurses.
• Collaborate with talent acquisition: Work with the recruitment team for appropriate placement into specific roles and locations.
• Uphold quality standards: Adhere to Bon Secours Mercy Health’s commitment to high standards of healthcare quality and safety.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career; a recent graduate from an accredited nursing program who has successfully completed all requirements to obtain a nursing license; or a recent graduate who has been unable to take the NCLEX examination due to the COVID-19 pandemic (where licensing exceptions apply); or an RN student enrolled in the final semester of an accredited nursing program; or an RN student who has completed at least their first round of clinicals.
• Experience: Successful completion of required clinical rotations from an accredited nursing program.
• Skills: Foundational understanding of nursing principles, ability to apply theoretical knowledge in clinical settings, effective patient communication.
• Bonus: Interest in specific specialties including Med/Surg, Oncology, Telemetry, PCU, Inpatient Rehab, and Emergency Department; eligibility for a sign-on bonus.
