What You’ll Actually Do
• Plan and execute individualized patient care plans in collaboration with experienced RNs and healthcare teams.
• Administer medications and treatments precisely, adhering to safety protocols and physician orders.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, accurately documenting vital signs, patient responses, and condition changes.
• Educate patients and their families on basic care, procedures, and treatment plans to foster understanding and adherence.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation using telemetry equipment, reporting trends and abnormalities to physicians.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career, requiring a nursing degree to provide basic nursing care in an acute care setting.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of the nursing process, ability to perform patient assessments, proficiency in medication administration, effective communication, and strong organizational skills.
• Bonus: ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support, PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support, NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation
