• Team: Serving the Neuro-Stroke Progressive Care Unit on the 7th Floor of the hospital.
• Mission: To facilitate the transition of new graduate Registered Nurses into fully competent, professional nurses through a collaborative learning environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Assess: Evaluate patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
• Plan: Formulate and revise patient care plans, including discharge, in collaboration with the patient, family, and multidisciplinary health team.
• Implement: Provide direct patient care, coordinate, delegate, and supervise health care team activities according to physician orders and nursing standards.
• Evaluate: Assess the patient’s and family’s response to care and teaching, adjusting the plan of care as needed to reflect changing patient needs.
• Document: Maintain accurate, legible, and timely records of patient assessments, plans, interventions, and evaluations in the patient record.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. Recent or upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Experience: No more than 12 months of prior Registered Nurse experience.
• Skills: Current BLS certification (through American Heart Association, Red Cross, or ASHI), clinical assessment, care planning, patient intervention, patient evaluation, precise documentation, and proficiency with electronic medical health record systems like Cerner.
• Bonus: Active RN license, previous clinical healthcare experience, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
