What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service: Provide customer service to clients, employees, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Armed Patrol: Conduct regular and random armed patrols of office, data, and operations areas, including interior and exterior perimeter checks, to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity.
• Incident Response: Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, reporting, and coordination with site contacts and/or public emergency services.
• Weapon Handling: Carry and maintain authorized firearms and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal guidelines, using professional judgment to help deter threats.
• System Monitoring: Monitor access control points and security-related systems such as alarms, cameras, and visitor logs, completing timely documentation of patrols, incidents, and unusual observations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess an active armed guard card/license and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience: Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Participation in industry-specific security training programs is a condition of employment.
• Skills: Demonstrate a high standard of professionalism, clear communication, exceptional customer service, problem-solving, and de-escalation abilities.
