• Pay: $19.43–$21 hourly
• Mission: Manage day-to-day security operations to ensure the overall safety and security of a commercial building.
• Tech Stack: Security video systems, C-Cure building access control, Fire alarm systems, Intercom and telephone systems, Public address systems, NVR (Network Video Recorder) systems, Two-way radio communications systems

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Management: Manage the day-to-day security operations of one of Colliers’ commercial buildings, ensuring consistent and dependable service.
• System Proficiency: Gain and apply proficiency in operating and managing a comprehensive suite of security and building systems, including C-Cure access control and various communication tools.
• Building Security & Reporting: Be instrumental in maintaining the overall security and safety of the building by managing approved after-hours access and documenting incident reports and daily activities.
• Emergency Preparedness: Monitor emergency broadcast messages and life safety scanners, and be prepared to respond effectively to emergency situations.
• Professional Interaction: Maintain a professional and positive demeanor in all interactions with tenants, clients, Colliers staff, and the public, reflecting a customer-centric approach.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a high school diploma or equivalency, with a clear criminal history, and successfully complete a drug test.
• Experience: Hold a valid California BSIS Guard Card, which is a mandatory requirement for this role.
• Skills:
1. Demonstrate proficiency in the security control room and with related systems and equipment.
2. Possess the ability to regularly monitor emergency broadcast messages and life safety scanners for critical information.
3. Exhibit skill in maintaining accurate reports and logs detailing after-hours access, incidents, and daily security activities.
4. Maintain a professional and positive demeanor in all interactions with tenants, clients, staff, and the public.
• Bonus: Certification in first aid, CPR, and AED, or the ability to obtain these certifications within 6 months of hire.
