Dialysis Registered Nurse | DCI

Our nursing staff has significantly contributed to DCI achieving the lowest mortality and hospitalization rates among large dialysis providers for over a decade. This Dialysis Registered Nurse role is critical in delivering specialized nursing care in our in-center hemodialysis unit, directly impacting patient longevity and quality of life.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide specialized nursing care by performing hemodialysis treatments in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
• Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing emergent changes in their condition and communicating issues to the physician and family.
• Administer and accurately chart all prescribed pre, intra, and post-dialysis medications.
• Ensure strict adherence to CDC/CMS regulations for infection control and participate in patient care conferences and medical rounds.
• Collaborate with all staff and renal team members to maintain medication inventory, ensure machine function, and assist in training new staff.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An Early Career Registered Nurse with a degree from an accredited Nursing Program.
• Experience: Must possess and maintain a current license as a Registered Nurse in the applicable state, with new graduate RNs welcome and encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated high level of clinical excellence.
• Bonus: Previous dialysis experience.
