What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by diligently following site-specific government facility access procedures, security protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Screening: Screen employees, visitors, and deliveries at checkpoints using detection equipment and refer any prohibited items or concerns to site leadership.
• Access Control: Verify identification, manage sign-in and badge processes, control access, and meticulously maintain accurate logs and required documentation.
• Incident Response: Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, employing problem-solving and de-escalation techniques, thorough reporting, and effective coordination with on-site personnel.
• Patrols: Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, and the perimeter, observing for irregular activity, potential hazards, and policy violations, documenting all findings.

The Must-Haves
• Background: At least 18 years of age (for unarmed roles); possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Entry-level position, requiring no specific prior experience in a security role.
• Skills: Agile mindset, reliability, strong teamwork, integrity, clear communication with staff and visitors, problem-solving, and de-escalation techniques.
