What You’ll Actually Do
• Patient Care Planning: Assist in developing and implementing individualized patient care plans, collaborating closely with experienced RNs and the broader healthcare team.
• Treatment Administration: Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, meticulously ensuring accuracy, patient safety, and full compliance with established protocols.
• Patient Assessment & Documentation: Perform comprehensive patient assessments, meticulously documenting vital signs, patient responses, and any changes in condition promptly within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Patient & Family Education: Provide patient and family education, addressing basic care, specific procedures, and detailed treatment plans to foster patient understanding and adherence.
• Environmental & Mobility Support: Support patient mobility, personal hygiene, and daily living activities, while adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a clean, safe care environment.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career, with foundational knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices in an acute care setting. Requires an active RN – Registered Nurse license (State and/or Compact State) and BCLS – Basic Life Support certification.
• Experience: 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices; ability to perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively; proficient in administering medications and monitoring for side effects; effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration; strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient care.
• Bonus: ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support; PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support; NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation.
