What You’ll Actually Do
• Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding, while prioritizing client dignity.
• Health Monitoring & Reporting: Observe and accurately monitor clients’ health status, vital signs, and overall well-being, promptly reporting significant changes to the supervising nurse.
• Companionship & Emotional Support: Provide empathetic companionship, engage clients in conversation, and offer emotional encouragement to foster a positive environment.
• Environmental Maintenance: Ensure a safe, clean, and organized living environment for clients, including light housekeeping and assisting with laundry.
• Care Plan Adherence & Communication: Strictly follow individualized care plans and maintain open communication with clients, families, and the healthcare team.
