What You’ll Actually Do
• Personal Care: Provide sensitive and respectful support with daily personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, always prioritizing client comfort and privacy.
• Mobility Assistance: Assist clients with safe transfers, walking, and exercises as outlined in their care plan to maintain physical capabilities and prevent falls.
• Environmental Hygiene: Ensure a clean and hygienic environment for clients, assisting with personal hygiene routines and maintaining cleanliness of personal spaces.
• Companionship: Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities, providing a reassuring presence and fostering a sense of connection to reduce feelings of isolation.
• Health Observation: Diligently observe and monitor changes in clients’ physical or mental health status, accurately documenting observations, and promptly reporting any significant concerns to supervising healthcare professionals.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career, with a foundational desire to provide compassionate care and support to others in a home setting.
• Experience: No prior experience in healthcare is required; a willingness to learn and care for others is essential.
• Skills: A genuine desire to care for others (compassion), excellent communication skills, strong reliability and dependability, the ability to accurately follow care plans, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Bonus: Previous experience in healthcare.
