We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be crucial in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for every customer. We’re looking for individuals who are friendly, proactive, and committed to maintaining a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with questions, product recommendations, and general inquiries.
  • Efficiently manage sales transactions and operate an assigned cash register.
  • Uphold the security of cash and protect company assets diligently.
  • Ensure the store is well-stocked and merchandise is recovered and organized.
  • Receive incoming merchandise, assist with unloading trucks, and restock shelves according to productivity standards.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions with customers, fellow associates, and leaders.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the entire store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, and removing trash.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations.

Skills and Experience

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
  • Instruction Following: Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
  • Organizational & Communication: Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
