We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Associate to join our team and play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with questions, provide recommendations, and offer support to ensure a positive shopping journey.
- Efficiently manage sales transactions while operating an assigned cash register.
- Uphold the security of cash and diligently protect company assets.
- Ensure the store remains well-stocked and merchandise is recovered and organized.
- Receive incoming merchandise and actively participate in unloading trucks and replenishing stock, adhering to established productivity standards.
- Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions with customers, fellow associates, and leaders.
- Take responsibility for maintaining overall store cleanliness, which includes cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, disposing of trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations.
Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and accurately interpret operational documents is required.
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet the physical demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
