Responsibilities
- Collect, review, process, and maintain data for inventory and key control.
- Move furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) safely and expediently.
- Assist with facility inspections and work order management.
- Assist with the setup and execution of HRL events & programs.
- Create and send email correspondence, answer phones, and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist with HRL front counter operations.
- Assist with fire drills and Health & Safety inspections.
- Assist with audits for all residence halls, warehouse spreadsheets, and housing office spaces.
- Assist with special projects & requests during day-to-day operations.
- Assist with maintaining a safe, clean living & learning environment in all HRL residence halls.
- Perform other duties specified by the Housing and Residence Life Department or direct Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a current UWG student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours.
- Must have and maintain a 2.0 GPA.
- Must complete a university-mandated background check and all required training.
- For summer enrollment only, students may be enrolled in the following Fall classes.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
- Student Assistants will be on their feet for the majority of the day.
- Will be exposed to the elements while inspecting residence hall exteriors and traveling between buildings.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or customer service environment.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
