Role Overview: Brand Partnership Intern

We are seeking a dynamic, self-driven individual to join our Brand Partnerships team at Hustle Magazine. As a Brand Partnership Intern, you will play a crucial role in identifying, pitching, and nurturing strategic brand collaborations that align with our magazine’s vision and audience. This position offers a unique chance to dive into the world of media partnerships and business development within the vibrant magazine industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and Identify: Conduct thorough research to identify potential brand partners, collaborators, and sponsors, both nationally and internationally, who align with Hustle Magazine’s brand identity and target demographic.
  • Outreach and Engagement: Assist in proactive outreach efforts through various channels including professional emails, LinkedIn, and Instagram DMs, to compellingly pitch collaboration opportunities to prospective partners.
  • Partnership Coordination: Coordinate effectively with brands to ensure the smooth execution and delivery of partnership deliverables, such as featured content, barter deals, co-marketing campaigns, and sponsored initiatives.
  • Documentation and Tracking: Maintain meticulous partnership trackers, follow-up logs, and comprehensive proposal decks to ensure all interactions and progress are accurately recorded and easily accessible.
  • Proposal Development: Craft compelling and tailored brand proposals and media kits designed for different verticals and target audiences of Hustle Magazine, showcasing the value and reach of our platform.

Who We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

  • Academic Background: Currently a student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, Media Studies, Business, or a closely related field.
  • Exceptional Communication: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, capable of articulating ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Proactive & Confident: Demonstrate confidence and professionalism when reaching out to senior brand representatives, PR heads, and other key decision-makers.
  • Creative & Strategic Thinker: Exhibit a creative mindset coupled with a solid understanding of impactful storytelling, brand positioning, and market trends.
  • Organized & Self-Motivated: Be highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple conversations, tasks, and deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
