INTERNSHIP – Brand & Marketing Content | ACT

The Tone:
This is a year-long, remote internship at ACT, a mission-driven organization focused on expanding student opportunities through education and workplace success. ACT fights for inclusivity in education and believes in helping anyone who struggles to access its power. This role is a project-management-forward position with real impact, where you will own the coordination of critical student content that helps advance ACT’s mission. You will contribute to a national brand by supporting its creative marketing efforts and learning from an experienced team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Student Outreach: Conduct outreach to prospective student participants via email and other channels using provided templates and contact lists.
• Project Tracking: Track participant status and consistently follow up to move students through each stage of the testimonial process.
• Contract Management: Submit and manage contract requests in Salesforce, ensuring all required information is accurate and complete.
• File Organization: Maintain organized digital files across shared drives, keeping assets, contracts, and communications easy to locate.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate scheduling and logistics between students, internal stakeholders, and production team members.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a college or university program with completion of sophomore year, studying marketing, communications, media production, journalism, or a related field.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience required; emphasis on a reliable, organized, and communicative approach to work.
• Skills: Strong written communication, detail-oriented with the ability to track multiple contacts and deadlines, comfortable learning new tools quickly, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools, experience with OneDrive, Excel, or similar file organization systems, basic video editing experience (Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or similar), or a personal interest in social media, content creation, or digital marketing.
